Physical therapy
Treatment: of physical ailments, activity restrictions or injuries of the musculoskeletal system in prevention, therapy and rehabilitation.
Methods: Manual Therapy, Training Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (as part of the KPE), Sports Physiotherapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Posture Training, Gait and Run Training, Kinesiaping.
Osteopathy
Treatment: Improvement of physical functioning by restoring movement of various tissues.
Method: Holistic work on all body structures such as bony skeleton, muscles, fascia, internal organs and cranium.
FDM fascia distortion model according to Typaldos
Treatment: acute pain from sprains, dislocations and strains (sports injuries or accidents), from chronic discomfort or restricted mobility.
Method: by strong manual pressure on certain points and webs of the tissue, partly by tension and pressure in the area of the joints and the spine.
Physical therapy in sports
Treatment: after accidents such as tendon or muscle strain, fractures and surgical procedures. Chronic pain or overuse symptoms that interfere with athletic activity.
Method: Depending on the injury, different manual methods, fascial techniques, osteopathic treatments are used. Preparation of training plans with targeted active exercises during rehabilitation until the resumption of physical activity.
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) in the context of complex physical decongestive therapy (KPE)
Treatment: The treatment with MLD takes place in lymphoedema on legs or arms usually in combination with a compression treatment such as stocking, bandage, etc. The MLD can also be necessary on the entire body.
Even after an injury / operation can lead to a lymph congestion. Targeted MLD promotes the return transport of edematous tissue fluid.
Method: Circular or spiral handles with displacement and pressure increase in the underlying tissue creates a pumping action. This promotes lymphatic drainage. MLD is used in edema treatment (KPE) in combination with decongestive exercise, bandaging / stocking care, nutritional advice and skin care.
Taping
Treatment: used by acute and chronic injuries, as well as in prevention. It is also used to support the activation of the lymphatic system.
Method: differently structured tapes (kinesiotapes, dynamic tapes, lattice tapes, etc.) are applied to the body region to be treated. It can cause activation of circulation, improvement of the body's perception (proprioception), disabling the pain system, support of the muscle / joint function and a tissue swelling.
